Tong Qiao Huo Xue Tang by Blue Poppy’s Great Nature Classics is a formula that comes from Wang Qing-rens late Qing dynasty Yi Lin Gai Cuo (Correcting the Errors in the Forest of Medicine).

Within this formula, Chuan Xiong (Rhizoma Chuanxiong), Chi Shao (Radix Rubra Paeoniae), Tao Ren (Semen Persicae), and Hong Hua (Flos Carthami) quicken the blood and dispel stasis.

In addition, Chuan Xiong guides the other medicinals to the head and sense organs, while Su He Xiang powerfully penetrates and frees the flow of the network vessels and opens the orifices.

Sheng Jiang (uncooked Rhizoma Zingiberis) and Cong Bai (Bulbus Allii Fistulosi) also guide the other ingredients upward and free the flow of yang, while Da Zao (Fructus Jujubae) and Sheng Jiang harmonize and regulate all the other medicinals in this formula.

Action: Quickens the blood and frees the flow of the orifices

Pattern: Blood stasis in the head

Chinese Symptomology: Blood stasis in the head with headache, dizziness, deafness, visual impairment, hair loss, acne rosacea, or nasal obstruction. It is also indicated for white patch wind, dry blood taxation in women, and childhood gan with bluegreens veins visible on the distended abdomen. Signs & Symptoms of blood stasis in the head include: Severe, fixed, and/or enduring headache, acne rosacea, visibly engorged veins or venules, longterm, chronic nasal obstruction, black, brown, and/or purple discolorations, a dark, purplish tongue and/or possible static speckles or macules.

Suggested Use:
Adults take 3 capsules 2 times per day or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
