Xiao Chai Hu Pian by Tanglong nourishes the Kidney and subdues the hyperactivity of Liver Yang. It is very effective in replenishing deficiency of both Liver Yin and Kidney Yin.
It clears away heat and diminishes inflammation and aids in the opening of the apertures of the ears. It is used for hearing difficulty due to Kidney Yin Deficiency. It is used for such symptoms as: tinnitus, hearing difficulty, vertigo, blurred vision, dry mouth and red eyes (due to the flaring of deficiency Fire such as from overworking and not enough sleep).
Dosage: 8 pills, 3 times a day

Contraindications: It should not be used if a person has a cold or flu, fever and loose stool
