Xiang Sha Yang Wei Tang by Blue Poppy’s Great Nature Classics is a formula that comes from Gong Ding-xians Ming dynasty Wan Bing Hui Chun (Restoring Spring to the Tens of Thousands of Diseases).

Within this formula, Ren Shen, Bai Zhu, Cang Zhu, Fu Ling, Da Zao, and mix-fried Gan Cao all fortify the spleen and supplement the qi. In addition, Bai Zhu and Cang Zhu dry dampness, while Fu Ling seeps dampness. Xiang Fu, Mu Xiang, Hou Po, Chen Pi, Sha Ren, and Sheng Jiang all rectify the qi. Mu Xiang, Hou Po, Chen Pi, Sha Ren, and Sheng Jiang also help eliminate dampness, while Hou Po, Chen Pi, Sha Ren, and Sheng Jiang harmonize the stomach.
